Delete Info

The Delete Info window is used to set the attributes of a Delete script item. This window is opened when a new Delete item is created from Script:New Item:Delete. It is also opened when a Delete script item is selected and Script:Edit Item... is chosen.
The Delete Info window contains the following items:
- Delete
- This popup menu presents a list of delete options.
- "File by Name" allows you to delete one or more files whose names match a specified criteria. This criteria can be a full or partial name.
- "Folder by Name" allows you to delete a folder (and its contents) whose name exactly matches the specified name.
- "File by Type & Creator" allows you to delete one or more files whose type and creator code match the specified criteria. You can use the Same As... button to retrieve the type and creator codes from a file on your hard disk.
A Delete item looks for files and folders to delete only within the current install folder. It will not search the entire drive for items to delete.
- Operator
- This popup menu displays a list of operators for locating items to delete. For files, this list includes "equals", "starts with", "ends with", and "contains". For folders, only the "equals" operator is available.
- Value
